Image Management and Viewing Software

Smart Pix is built on a relational database that stores a reference to all the images in your collection and allows you to (quickly and easily) assign multiple attributes (keywords) or descriptions to them.

These attributes are used for performing Boolean searches on your image collection to locate and categorise specific files.  You can also use the Find function to locate items with particular names or descriptions.

Features include:
- Supports all common image formats: JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, Bitmaps (BMP, RLE and DIB), TIFF, Metafiles (WMF and EMF), Icons (ICO), PNG, PCX, TGA, PBM, PGM and PPM
- Creates and maintains a database of your images and allows you to assign and remove multiple attributes (descriptions) or keywords against each file.
- Supports AND/OR searching for images of specified attributes.
- Allows you to add a full text description to your images, these descriptions can be searched across using the Find function
- Advanced thumbnail display, printing and exporting functionality, including the ability to create thumbnail contact sheets, file description lists and HTML thumbnail indexes
- Simple to use, including batch functionality for input of files and attribute assignment and removal. If your image collection is already sorted into directories you can add initial attributes to all your files in minutes
- Optional password restricted access
- Optional storage of image files with .DLL (or other) extension to make images invisible to other users/programs
- Optional storage of images within the database for high security
- Also supports standard browsing of files on your computer system
- Standard viewing features, such as Slideshow, Zoom and Shrink to fit and Stretch to fit.

- Supports scanning of images with Twain compatible scanners.
